RE3Torres is owned by Fundació Casa de Misericòrdia de Barcelona (FCMB). It is a private charitable foundation. It was founded in 1584 driven by venerated Didac Perez de Valdivia, professor at University of Barcelona, and supported by Consell de Cent.

Community services of Fundació Casa de Misericòrdia de Barcelona, following its mission, are  built up focusing on two educational areas: charity and welfare, and culture. Foundation sets aside both of them its financial and human resources.

Grants
In order to ease that students with good academic records can keep studying, FCMB can provide accommodation grants to some residents. It must be requested specifically, call for habitacio3a personal interview and provide applied documentation about last academic records and family income.
